This year we’ve created multiple opportunities and a variety of choices for you to choose from during the two days we spend together at the Summit.  This year we will be offering the following events:

  • Break out Sessions – There will be two different tracks that we offer Summit    attendees this year.  You will be able to chose from sessions in:

HOT TOPIC SESSIONS

  • Jeff Yordy, Vice President of Fox Faith, will speak on identifying key influencers and partners to engage the faith community in support of faith-based, family-friendly projects;  Jeff will also weigh in on the state of the industry.

Church Marketing 101, Part 2

If You Can’t Say Anything Newsworthy, Don’t Say Anything at all:  a take-off on mama's advice: "If you can't say anything Nice, don't say anything at all.”  (Larry Ross, speaker)
           
Session Description:  This session will focus on how to get into the news flow -- both in terms of telling your ministry story of emphases and events in the context of traditional news values and serving as an authoritative resource to the media on a variety of issues and topics.

The Secret Weapon  in Every Direct Marketer’s Arsenal (Mark Loux, speaker)

Session Description:  Find out how an effective offer can help you turn a sow’s ear into a silk purse!  In this session you’ll know the questions guaranteed to get the research necessary for crafting an effective offer, be able to convince your co-workers why they need to be a part of the offer optimization process, and generate better results for your organization! Mark will help you learn how to create an offer so attractive that only a lunatic would say “no”!

The Parachurch Fundraising Landscape (Tom McCabe, speaker)

Session Description:  There really is a new landscape emerging in the world of fundraising.  The "Old Standbys" are either fading or creating new challenges, and "new" media are coming on strong.  What is a fundraiser to do?  Well, running for the hills is not an option.  Doing a little research -- which this session will help provide -- and learning to blend the old with the new will give you a new lease on life, a smile on your face and some great ideas to help renew and reform your fundraising fortunes -- perhaps even literally!!
